70’s Fever Dream

  • We wanted to create the scene out of a 70’s fever dream, a group of friends vibing together. A glimpse into the past. The photographer wanted to focus on film for the photos and some digitals. The outcome came out beautifully, we captured the era and models beautifully. All around came out great, a fantastic group and team.

The production team consisted of 3 people, we arrived early to set up. We had 4 models, and started at 12pm. We used a backdrop for the first half of the day. The second half we did outside and it had just rained, but we were able to make it work. We had pizza for our whole team and goodie bags for the models and makeup artist.

  • The outfits I picked everything out days in advance. I put together 3 outfits for each model. Two outfits for each model and one extra outfit, a couple of other clothing items for back up. I wanted to have clothing that represented that era of the 70’s. With floral prints, funky prints, high waisted jeans and leather jackets. We tried to have a wide spread of the era. With inspiration from punk rock, flower power hipsters and preppy looks. We didn’t want to stick to one style. I sourced clothes from my dads closet, for the menswear. Also had the models bring some clothing. Most of the clothing we owned, and some we bought from the thrift store. I wanted to keep it as sustainable as possible, sourcing clothes.
